There is money available to Danish startups and scaleups that does not cost you equity: grants, vouchers, programmes and loans. A lot of it goes unused every year, mostly because founders do not know what exists or who to ask.
In this session, four actors from the ecosystem present one after the other, five to ten minutes each. Innovationsfonden, Iværksætter Danmark and Beyond Beta cover soft funding — what they fund, who can apply, how much is typically available, and when the next deadline is. EIFO does not offer soft funding. They provide loans, guarantees and investment, including match loans that follow private capital into a company. They are here so you can see where grant money ends and their kind of financing begins.
After the presentations the room changes shape. Each of the four takes a station, and you go to the ones that are relevant to you. This is where you can ask the specific questions: whether your company qualifies, whether your project fits the call, what a strong application looks like, and why applications get turned down.
You do not need a finished application or a project ready to submit. You leave knowing which programmes you can apply for, when the next deadline is, and who to contact.
